Climate change related hazards such as recurrent droughts are posing challenges to livelihoods especially among rural households, through impacting on the terrestrial ecosystem goods and services.

    Cirad has submitted a project proposal (Nexus BiHLi, see summary below) in response to a call from the University of Montpellier, MUSE (Nexus exposUM) to fund several PhD projects. It is important to note that funding has not yet been secured because these projects will not be evaluated until mid-July. But the procedure calls for a pre-selection of applicants. So, here is one of the PhD offers for a study that will be conducted in Zimbabwe, please find it attached: “Co-designing an integrated community-based syndromic health monitoring system for wildlife, livestock and humans in a rural SES of Zimbabwe”.
